Internship – min. commitment 3 months, 6 months preferred

As a Fashion Design Intern, you will play a pivotal role in the research, development, and creation of seasonal trends and designs. Your keen eye for detail and understanding of target markets will contribute to our brand's success.

In addition to the existing responsibilities, we have expanded the requirements for this role to further enhance the your learning experience and overall contribution.


  1. Conduct thorough research on seasonal trends and designs, considering various factors such as age, gender, and socioeconomic status to identify target markets accurately.
  2. Create compelling mood boards and presentations for the season and/or curated collections, effectively communicating the envisioned aesthetics and brand identity.
  3. Demonstrate excellent sketching skills to produce both rough and detailed drawings of apparel or accessories. Write comprehensive specifications encompassing colour schemes, construction techniques, material types, and accessory requirements.
  4. Take charge of the sampling process, including meticulous documentation of tech sheets and coordinating with our factory partners for accurate drawing and cutting patterns.
  5. Engage in the construction of samples or finished garments, ensuring impeccable attention to detail and quality control throughout the production process.
  6. Foster design innovation by constantly exploring new ideas, techniques, and concepts, pushing the boundaries of creativity within the brand's vision.
  7. Participate in the selection of fabric, trims, embellishments, and hems, considering their quality, availability, and alignment with design requirements.
  8. Collaborate closely with the creative and marketing teams to develop campaigns for new launches, ensuring a cohesive brand image across all touch points.
  9. Efficiently manage the scheduling and production of launches, overseeing timelines, and coordinating with relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.
  10. Analyse past performance data and review collection performance, extracting insights to inform future design decisions and align with our brand's objectives.


  • Proficiency in relevant design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite or other industry-standard tools.
  • Strong understanding of garment construction and manufacturing processes.
  • Knowledge of sustainable and ethical practices within the fashion industry is highly desirable.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate design concepts and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated passion for fashion and a keen eye for emerging trends and styles.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, taking ownership of responsibilities and embracing challenges with enthusiasm.
